A Concise Rational Proof of the Creator’s Existence

The universe, in which we find ourselves, has a certain description and a set of laws fixed with in it e.g. the law of gravity, the strength of steel, the spectrum of colours in light etc. and this why  we witness the sun rise and set each day exactly the same way each year.  Like a painting, painted in a particular way, the world around us is a certain way, and thus if there is a painting there must be a painter.

If we were for a moment to ponder over this fact that everything around us has set characteristics and limitations in height, weight and energy, from a speck of dust to the countless stars; the only rational conclusion that can be drawn is that this universe must have been brought in to existence and given these characteristics by a Creator, who is unlimited. The denial of a Creator would be to deny the reality around us, to be irrational.

Another reality also exists, the clear revelation from the Creator informing us of the purpose of creation, i.e. the Qur’an (see Concise Proof also).  To quote from it:

“Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us?” [23:115 TMQ]
